Hot Caustic is a very concentrated industrial strength cleaner that heats up when mixed with water to dissolve fat, grease, oil, organic stains on wood, and protein-based deposits, producing a water-soluble solution that you can wash away.
Hot Caustic is used for heavy duty degreasing concrete and pavers, as a heavy duty wood cleaner/stripper, and oxidation remover.
This product contains Sodium Hydroxide, Calcined soda, Disodium oxosilanediolate (sodium metasilicate), and Sodium Nitrite.
Each 2lb jar makes 8-16 gallons of liquid solution depending on the application. Save hundreds in shipping and have less weight on your rig by buying this powder concentrate and mixing it as needed, on site!
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
•NEVER pour water onto this product. Always wear proper safety equipment while using this very caustic cleaner/degreaser.
•Be very careful to only apply this product to the surface being cleaned. This is a very caustic product and can cause serious damage or injuries if used irresponsibly.
•For tough oil & grease stains, agitation with a stiff bristle brush and multiple applications may be required. Using hot water helps but isn’t a must.
•If you’re using this product on wood, make sure to follow up with an application of our “Wild Ox” to neutralize the PH in the wood
MIXING INSTRUCTIONS FOR DEGREASING & WOOD STAIN STRIPPING
Mix 1/4 cup into one gallon of water very slowly for pump sprayer or dedicated pump application
•Mix 1/2 cup into one gallon of water very slowly for x-jet application
•Mix 2.5 cups or half the 2lb jar into one gallon of water very slowly for down stream injector application
MIXING INSTRUCTIONS FOR HEAVY DUTY WOOD CLEANING
Mix 1/8 cup into one gallon of water very slowly for pump sprayer or dedicated pump application
•Mix 1/4 cup into one gallon of water very slowly for x-jet application
•Mix 1.25 cups or 1/4 of the 2lb jar into one gallon of water very slowly for down stream injector application
